The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is an international non-profit organization that serves and represents the firms and individuals involved in all aspects of the kitchen and bath industry. As the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the kitchen and bath industry, NKBA is the leading source of information and education for consumers and professionals alike. With over 50,000 members, the NKBA’s mission is to enhance member success and excellence by promoting professionalism and ethical business practices, and providing leadership and direction for the kitchen and bathroom industry.
The NKBA owns the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the largest and most comprehensive trade show in North America for the kitchen and bath industry. Every year, thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors gather to learn, network, exchange ideas and showcase new products and services.
Networking events, professionals certifications, educational courses, consumer leads, member discounts, marketing tools, job listings and leadership opportunities are just a few of the reasons to become a member. See the NKBA membership brochure to learn how becoming an NKBA member will help you succeed.
Through creation of marketplaces, networks and certifications, the NKBA inspires, leads and empowers the kitchen and bath industry.
The NKBA partnered with BridgeYear — a Houston-based nonprofit organization designed to enlighten students to the numerous career options that require less than a four-year degree — to launch the BridgeYear/NKBA Career Tour. The Career Tour is the cornerstone of the NKBA NextUp initiative, which aims to recruit and empower a well-prepared workforce for the kitchen and bath industry.
The organization has traveled around the world for years, forging relationships with international businesses in an effort to create a more connected kitchen and bath community. The NKBA’s Global Connect program is dedicated to this pursuit. It takes a multi-pronged approach to informing, inspiring and empowering the global community, reaching individuals and businesses through a subscription plan, liaison program, meet-ups, summits and more.
Every year, the NKBA honors outstanding young professionals who possess the passion, creativity and brilliance to be the voice of the next generation of kitchen and bath experts. Empowering young professionals through the Thirty Under 30 Program, the NKBA gives the next generation the opportunity to meet amazing peers, network with important industry leaders, and otherwise shake the trees inside the kitchen and bath trades.
